Astanza Core Values
Having decided on our Purpose, we brainstormed ideas about the values we want to operate under. I told the team then and reinforce it continuously to this day – if you make a decision based on our Core Values, you will never get in trouble. We may talk about other alternatives after the fact, but I will always support you 100% if you make a decision based on our Core Values.
After coming up with 35 or 40 ideas for values, we narrowed them down to 5. Our Core Values don’t read like a typical corporate mission statement or values. They are our own words, with deep meaning for each of us. What we came up with wasn’t new or drastically different than the way Astanza has always operated, but it gave us a clear guide to rely on in our day-to-day.

When work is no longer fun and it’s just work, productivity and responsiveness to clients suffer and the environment in the workplace becomes dull and boring. If you have ever been to our headquarters in Dallas, you will know that we each have Nerf guns at our desks, celebrate team members successes with champagne, and argue like brothers and sisters over what’s on our Spotify playlists. We truly have fun every day and try to bring that approach to everything we do.

However, we go beyond just providing excellent service and training to our clients. We get to know each client and learn about how we can help them succeed. After all, we are in this together and so our success can only be achieved by happy, satisfied clients.
