Meet the Astanza Laser Team

Astanza A-Team Members

All Astanza A-Team members are valued for their dedication and expertise. Astanza’s establishment as the top brand in tattoo removal technology and leading provider for aesthetic laser technology is due to the hard work and commitment to our mission from the Astanza A-Team. See the names and bios below of our passionate Astanza team, industry professionals with advanced tattoo removal knowledge and experience.

Leadership

President

I strive to lead the company by instilling the same values my wife and I are teaching our two young sons: be honest, treat others the way you want to be treated, show respect for those around you, and take care of others who need your help. When I’m not at the office, you can probably find me tinkering with something in my garage, working on a project around the house, or embarking on adventures with my family and our black lab Abby.

Assistant (to the) Regional Manager

If I am out of town for the weekend with one or some of my favorite people, I am in my happy place. My cat, Poe, is not as happy, but he deals with me. I am an only child, yet I like to think that I defy expectations. (I tend to like people.) Having spent more time with Astanza than any of my colleagues, I can honestly say we are a smart, cool group of folks who really want to help our clients succeed in the laser business. Working all around the globe just makes it that much more fun.

Brian Hasenbauer

VP Operations

One of my favorite things to do is to relax in the hammock on a warm summer day and catch up on the Wall Street Journal or a good book. Well, “good book” to me is some type of business book or history book. When I’m not reading and chilling in the hammock, I like to spend time kayaking, or hiking with my partner, Tracey. What gets me excited about working at Astanza is how we don’t just sell our client’s tattoo removal lasers; we also help them build their businesses.

Director of Field Service

I love solving problems in new and creative ways, and that‘s why I’m so happy I found a home at Astanza that allows me to do just that. I‘m passionate about exploring the intersection of medicine and technology – I think it’s one of the most exciting and rewarding ways of improving peoples lives. When I‘m not focusing on that you can catch me at a concert (I love live music), reading a good book, or dancing (I’m alright).

Steve Abraham

Director of Strategic Service Partnerships

Although servicing lasers and making laser owners happy takes up the bulk of my time, my true passion is spending time with my amazing wife and family.  Together, we have 5 kids and 6 grandkids, who we just can’t get enough of.  I am active in my church, teaching; serving; and fellowshipping with friends.  I also enjoy many outdoor activities including snow skiing, scuba diving, skydiving, hiking and biking.  Joining the Astanza team has been quite the learning experience and an exciting indoor adventure.

Sales

Business Development Manager

If you know me I am a pretty big pop culture buff and enjoy watching films and shows of all genres. I love going out and being active in my personal life and am always on the move, excited for every new encounter. I take that side of me into work every day, excited to give our clients 110%. Everyone at Astanza takes pride in our ability to give people the tools to succeed and that’s really something special.

Government & Corrections Partnerships

At Astanza, I blend my passion for social impact with cutting-edge laser tech, aiming to transform lives in correctional facilities. When not enabling access to tattoo removal solutions, I’m either wandering woods, strumming guitar, motorcycling backroads, painting, or spending quality time with loved ones. Committed to Astanza’s mission of #changinglives, I bring a mix of strategy, empathy, and impact to every partnership.

Inside Sales and Account Manager

Born and raised in Kentucky, there are a few things that are sacred to me – BBQ, bourbon, basketball and of course – the first Saturday in May (The KY Derby). I also love spending time with my husband, two kids, and two dogs. We like trying new restaurants, cooking, taking naps and all types of music.

I‘m proud of the work we do at Astanza because I see our company values come to life in how our team treats our clients, each other and patients in the community. It’s great to be part of a team that’s making a positive impact in our world!

Inside Sales and Account Manager

To know me is to know how much I love my fur babies (Tucker & Tripp). My favorite past times are spent outside, with my doggos, or with my friends and family (most of the time it’s all of them)! I’m a bit of a social butterfly and an open book. 🤪 I have also seen just about every show Netflix has to offer, so if you need any recommendations, I’m your girl.

I am very excited to be a part of the A-team! We pride ourselves on treating our clients and team members like family, so if we wouldn’t do it… then we won’t advise you to!

Inside Sales and Account Manager

I’m the resident boomerang on the team! I was previously with Astanza as a service and clinical team member for nearly 9 years, now I’m back on the sales side of the house. I spend most of my waking hours training for some endurance or multisport adventure, trying to keep up with my young son, and watching all sports (Detroit, Houston, Clemson, Michigan).

I’m excited to be part of your adventure, exploring the possibilities in aesthetic lasers.

Inside Sales and Account Manager

As a Dallas native with a passion for solving complex problems, I’ve found my home at Astanza, where innovative laser technology meets meaningful impact. My role in sales allows me to connect with clients and help them navigate their unique challenges. When I’m not immersed in the exciting world of lasers, you can find me spending time with friends and family, enjoying the good life.

I’m thrilled to be part of the A-Team at Astanza, where we truly care about #ChangingLives for the better. The supportive work environment and incredible team make every day rewarding, and I couldn’t ask for a better place to grow and make a difference.

Sarah Clarke

Customer Relations Assistant

My passion is meeting new people and learning more about them. I love striking new conversations and building lasting relationships in and out of the office! Working at Astanza is one of the best experiences I‘ve had because of all the great people I’ve encountered.

Bryce Fisher

Regional Sales

I love to be outside with my wife, Lindsey, and my three dogs, Danika, Fergie and Drogba. If I am not talking about lasers or playing with my pups, then I am probably running, riding my bike, playing soccer, or practicing yoga. I really enjoy being a part of the Astanza Laser Team and feel very lucky to have found such a great company with great employees. I have always enjoyed the service side of business, and Astanza’s customer service is second to none.

I‘m a big movie buff and an avid foodie. If I’m not watching a movie then I‘m probably eating…. or both! When it comes to work, I’m passionate about helping clients succeed and achieving their dreams! I‘m overjoyed to be a part of the Astanza Laser family because they truly care about their client’s journey to success. Even though I have 7+ years of sales experience, I like to say client service experience because at the end of the day, it‘s all about serving the client and ensuring they’re taken care of. Just like Buzz Lightyear, my service goes to infinity & beyond!

Elizabeth D’Oto

Inside Sales and Account Manager

I love Tennessee Football and trying new foods! You will rarely catch me at home on the weekends because I love to travel to new cities or am going to see friends. I have family in the US and in Italy, so I get to visit there frequently, as well! The Astanza Family is such a special place to be a part of, and I am thrilled to be part of a company that truly values its clients and sticks with them through the whole business timeline. Eternal Optimist and Always Searching For The Humor In The Moment… these are a few ways to describe me. I love to laugh, write, travel and spend time with my family. I have three children, three pugs and a husband. I also own a franchise here in Dallas, TX. My favorite thing about working for Astanza is the opportunity to help fellow business owners succeed.

I secretly aspire to produce Mocumentaries when I retire one day (I guess it’s no longer a secret).

A significant portion of time will be spent responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Quotes (RFQ), finding new leads and setting meetings with corrections personnel and non-profits with relevant missions. Examples include corrections and rehabilitation facilities with job training programs, community-focused non-profits/NGOs aiding in reentry and resettlement, and government agencies focused on helping veterans. Astanza’s purpose is #changinglives, and the work of this Business Development Manager will be integral.

A successful representative will have a hunter mentality, experience selling to not-for-profit organizations and agencies at the federal, state, and local level, and a strong desire to understand the science – and why – of laser technology. This person will be responsible for developing a sales pipeline through prospecting, cold calling, trade shows, cultivating inbound leads, and other means.

Candidate Attributes

Previous sales experience with corrections facilities, law enforcement, or similar

Marketing, Accounting & Administrative

Bookkeeper

It‘s a bird. It’s a plane. No, it‘s Super-Busy Mom! For the past several years, I was a stay at home mom, which was great! But I was horrid at cleaning and so missed having a work family. So lucky for me, David found me and now I get to be part of this great team! I’m the part-time accountant (with super sweet hours), part-time chauffer to my two awesome kids (who participate in travel softball, basketball, cross country, karate, band, and girl scouts), part-time trainer (my hubby and I have a standard poodle who is a certified duck/goose retriever hunting dog), part-time school/sports volunteer (I love being involved!), and part-time cleaning star (well, I still try!) I love my super crazy hectic life and Astanza Laser has been a great addition.

Saxton Seubert

Jr. Product Marketing Manager / Swag CEO

I spend most of my time doing anything and everything that will keep the right side of my brain active. Whether that’s baking, reading, painting, playing my ukulele, or listening to music, you can always find me doing one of those activities! I transfer this creativity into my work, making content that will inspire people and increase audience engagement. Starting my professional career with Astanza has challenged me to get out of my comfort zone and reach my full potential while creating meaningful connections with the team!

Hannah Barling

I’m all about the adventure – trying new types of food, checking out new places, listening to all kinds of music, traveling near and far just for a fresh perspective. You name it, I’m down to try it. If I’m not working you can catch me at the dog park with my sweet pup Ritz, reading a book by the pool, enjoying a cup of coffee at a local cafe, or streaming the latest true crime documentary. Working at Astanza allows me to find adventure in my day-to-day life by coming up with innovative ways to break the mold, specifically in our storytelling and digital marketing efforts. Clinical Training & Service

Krystal Haney

Director of Training and Education

Krystal is my name and clinical education is my game! I was born and raised in El Paso, TX and moved to Dallas about 10 years ago. I have been very blessed in my career in medical aesthetics to have had many opportunities to not only teach, but to learn and grow as well. I am so excited to be part of a company that values integrity, customer service, and especially serving the community by #changinglives. When I‘m not working, I’m spending time with my husband and beautiful daughter watching movies, playing games, or spending time at our church. I am a HUGE sci-fi/action/adventure movie aficionado. My absolute favorites include Harry Potter, Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Jurassic Park – because of this, our family vacations are mostly spent in Orlando, Fl which my husband has lovingly not complained about (much).

James Simison

Service Engineer

At my core, I love building things. Whether it’s crafting with Legos, painting Warhammer miniatures, or strumming on a folk guitar to heavy metal riffs, creating something from scratch is what gets my neurons firing. Even cooking is part of that creative process. My wife and I enjoy relaxing at home with movies and shows, and we share a deep love for coffee, which fuels both our creativity and downtime.

This passion for building and fixing is what led me to my role at Astanza, where I’m fortunate enough to channel those interests into my work. I started out assembling fiber optics for the Versawave Hard Tissue Laser, and it’s been an exciting journey ever since. So, if you have something that needs fixing, I’m your guy! I thrive on the challenge of bringing broken things back to life.

In-House Biomedical Engineer

I was taking Intro to Biomedical Engineering at the University of North Texas when I discovered my passion for science, engineering, and mathematics. I enjoyed the challenge of solving complex problems and developing new life-changing technologies. This discovery influenced my decision to specialize in bioinstrumentation, further my education at Cornell University, and graduate with my Master of Engineering degree in Biomedical Engineering. When I am not working, I am typically spending time with family and friends, cuddling with my dog, traveling to new places, eating chips and queso, baking at home, or teaching dance classes. I am proud to call myself part of the Astanza family, because they are truly a remarkable group of individuals who take pride in customer relationships, delivering top-of-the-line laser technology, and changing the lives of people in the community.

Biomedical Engineer

I enjoy working for Astanza because it allows me to do what I wanted to do most with my career, help others! When I‘m not working on lasers, I like to be outside as much as I can. Kayaking, hiking, you name it! I’m also a big plant person so I spend a fair amount of time watering plants. When I’m not outside I enjoy watching true crime and spending time with my family and friends!

Biomedical Engineer

I spend almost all of my free time listening to or playing music. I love to try new things, new foods, meet new people, and go to new places. At the end of the day, though, I very much enjoy going back to a familiar place and resting with friends and family around. When I need to get a little energy out, I love going to the nearest rock climbing gym or swimming pool to have some fun.

Biomedical Engineer

I thrive on challenges and take pride in solving problems while helping others and enhancing their lives. Being part of the A-team allows me to do just that every day. It is rewarding to wake up knowing that we are committed to #changinglives and having fun while doing so!
Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, going on long walks with my loyal companion, Kayo, watching movies, baking a delicious dessert, or playing basketball.

AJ Thomas

Service Engineer

Hi, I’m AJ-a proud Valley girl and mom to three amazing kids! I’m passionate about creating memorable adventures with them and sharing our faith. At work, I thrive on tackling new challenges and helping clients find solutions, especially in customer service. I even enjoy inventory-counting things is my kind of fun! Outside of work, you can find me line dancing, working in my vegetable garden, editing my book, and/or spending time with my family. I love picking up new hobbies and going to Disneyland.
Being part of the Astanza Family has truly expanded my view of what a great work community can be, and I’m excited for the journey ahead.

Jordan Hall

Senior Laser Biomedical Engineer

I love solving problems in new and creative ways, and that‘s why I’m so happy I found a home at Astanza that allows me to do just that. I‘m passionate about exploring the intersection of medicine and technology – I think it’s one of the most exciting and rewarding ways of improving peoples lives. When I‘m not focusing on that you can catch me at a concert (I love live music), reading a good book, or dancing (I’m alright).

Michael Hartnett

Biomedical Engineer

I‘m originally from Sandusky, Ohio where I enjoyed being on Lake Erie all summer. I then went to college at the University of Cincinnati where I studied Biomedical Engineering. I have a passion for creating innovative solutions to difficult problems. When I’m not at work I enjoy being in the sun, whether it be by the pool or on the beach, as well as meeting new people and making new connections. I’m proud to be at Astanza where I can be part of an innovative and rewarding workplace.

Nick Banda

Biomedical Engineer

I am a Dallas native that has a love for solving complex problems, which led me to find my home at Astanza. When I am not working on cool lasers, you will find me hanging out with friends and family, working on cars, working with my hands, or playing with my Chihuahua, Chuy. I am super excited to be a part of the A-Team here at Astanza because they really care about #ChangingLives of everyone they come in contact with for the better. Astanza has the perfect work environment and I could not ask for a better team to be a part of.
