Versatile Ablation Options

The handpieces included with the Dermablate® provide the ability to perform fractionally-ablative and fully-ablative skin resurfacing laser treatments, while minimizing side effects. There are three handpieces, all with their own treatment capabilities. Learn more below:

The VarioSpot

Perform fully ablative treatments with the VarioSpot handpiece, featuring an adjustable pulse length (1–6 mm Ø) for precise control. Its thermal mode minimizes bleeding, while coagulation ensures optimal treatment outcomes. Ideal for wrinkles, scars, and benign lesions.

The MicroSpot

This handpiece with a 13 x 13 mm spot size is designed with a fractionated beam, where only 10% to 25% of the skin’s surface is ablated. With the MicroSpot, practitioners can perform general skin resurfacing, remove fine lines & wrinkles, scarring, and more.

The DeepSpot

Included with the Dermablate® is a unique handpiece to treat every scar type. The DeepSpot is a fractional 7 x 7 mm handpiece that enables the highest pulse energies, reaching deeper skin layers and achieving optimal results.

Customize Treatments for Every Scar

The DeepSpot handpiece is designed with three treatment modes: Cold, Deep, and Warm.

Cold Mode: Use this mode when treating scars that don’t require a high heat level. Non-mature and hypertrophic scars can be treated effectively with the Cold mode.

Deep Mode: Atrophic scars that require a deeper tissue penetration can be treated with the Deep mode. Suited best for treatment of acne scars and burn scars.

Warm Mode: Designed for mature or complex scars, including severe atrophic scars, the Warm mode can provide a stronger effect while ensuring patient comfort.
