The Most Powerful Q-switched Ruby Laser Solution for Resistant Tattoo Colors
The Astanza EternityTSR Q-switched ruby laser system removes rare and resistant tattoo colors and provides effective treatment for pigmented lesions. Featuring the fastest full-powered ruby repetition rate available and 6x the power of dye handpieces, the EternityTSR matches efficacy with practicality for laser professionals.
The EternityTSR is a favorite amongst existing laser practices wanting to expand treatment options. It’s the perfect add-on laser for clinics that already perform laser tattoo removal and treat patients with resistant tattoo ink colors, such as lime-green and teal.
The EternityTSR is the most powerful ruby laser on the market, providing patients with results in fewer treatment sessions on even the most resistant inks.

Fast Removal for Resistant Tattoo Inks
Unique Ruby Wavelength Designed for Targeting Stubborn Inks
Nd:YAG lasers, like the Astanza Duality, are the cornerstone of any laser tattoo removal practice. Yet, there are some rare colors – lime-green, sky blue, and teal – that can be difficult to fade with even the most powerful Nd:YAG lasers. For these resistant hues, it is necessary to have a third wavelength to achieve complete removal.
The 694 nm wavelength produced by the EternityTSR Q-switched ruby laser is the perfect supplemental wavelength to tackle resistant colors. In addition to treating resistant blues and greens, the EternityTSR also provides effective removal for resistant, dark black tattoos. Tribal-type tattoos and others with heavy black ink application can achieve removal quickly when treated with a combination of 1064 nm and 694 nm wavelengths.
Fast & Powerful Removal
of Blue & Green Inks
Other laser manufacturers use impregnated dye handpieces and other types of wavelength filters to try to imitate ruby technology to treat blue and green tattoo inks. However, these handpiece systems are incredibly weak in power, because a large percentage (sometimes upwards of 80%) of the laser energy is blocked by the filter.
With 6x the pulse energy of dye handpieces, the EternityTSR has the power to fully remove stubborn colors such as lime green, turquoise, teal, sky blue, and even resistant black to completion.
Dye handpieces filters may yield a skin response on the first or second tattoo removal treatment, but these weak handpieces will quickly cease to provide adequate power during later stage treatments that require more fluence.
The EternityTSR has plenty of power to remove resistant inks, so you never need to question the capabilities of your technology. This powerhouse system boasts an unequaled 1200 mJ pulse energy – making it the most powerful Q-switched ruby tattoo removal laser on the market.

Penetrates Deep
to Shatter More Ink
A larger laser spot size equates to deeper penetration into the dermis and less scattering of light, allowing for each treatment to be more effective at removing ink and to decrease the risk of epidermal damage or scarring.
The EternityTSR reaches up to 5.5 J/cm2 at its largest spot size – a massive 5 mm spot – and many of our practitioners find that they rarely have to decrease settings to smaller spot sizes, even late in the treatment process.
Dye handpieces only offer 2 mm or 3 mm spot sizes, which greatly reduce their efficacy. Please note that while some competitive systems may offer extra large spot sizes, it’s important to note the reduction in fluence at super-large sizes. A large spot size is pointless if it does not provide adequate power to shatter tattoo ink. The EternityTSR far surpasses all competition in this area.
Faster & Safer Treatments
The industry-leading 5 mm square spot size of the EternityTSR Q-Switched Ruby Laser does more than simply give patients the results they crave – it also is more efficient for practices and allows for greater safety for sensitive skin.
The Eternity’s large spot size is 625% larger than the 2 mm round spot size found on impregnated dye handpieces, and the EternityTSR is the fastest full-powered ruby system available today with a 2 Hz repetition rate. These specifications translate to treatments that take a fraction as long to complete – improving patient comfort and saving valuable time for the practitioner.
The square spot size isn’t just unique – it has a meaningful purpose. Unlike traditional round beam shapes, the Eternity’s square profile can be strategically used to prevent over-treatment on sensitive skin and the associated side effects of pigmentation or texture changes.
Another safeguard against unwanted side effects is the Eternity’s flat-top (homogenized) beam. The homogenized beam transfers energy to the skin evenly without “hot spots,” allowing for improved safety for every pulse. Benefits of the homogenized square beam include: reduced risk of scarring, reduced pain, and greater efficacy.
Zero Consumable Costs
Dye handpieces go beyond being ineffective for treating tattoos – they’re also costly to practices. Unlike lasers, dye handpieces are “consumable” filters which means they wear out quickly with consistent use. It typically costs about $5,000 to replace a single dye handpiece.
As tattoos trends are shifting toward brighter, more colorful designs and the use of blue and green inks rises, practices relying on dye handpieces to treat resistant colors will continue to be reminded of their expense. For tattoos with significant portions of blue or green inks, it may be cost prohibitive to use dye handpieces at all.
The EternityTSR Q-Switched Ruby Laser contains no consumables, so the effective cost of providing treatments is virtually nothing – allowing practices to keep expenses low and to profit more.
Superior Reliability
Alternative “combination” systems with handpiece filters, fiber beam deliveries, or single optic sets cannot consistently deliver the power necessary to treat resistant colors.
- Impregnated dye handpieces fail after a few hundred thousand pulses – and are typically very expensive to replace.
- Lasers with fiber-based energy transfers, while fine for lower-energy applications such as hair removal, cannot handle the high energy required for tattoo removal. As a result, the fibers break after repeated use, causing reduced efficacy and costly repairs.
- Systems that use a single articulated arm to transmit beams from both Nd:YAG and ruby lasers often suffer from burned, overused optics – and the resulting maintenance costs.
The EternityTSR is a powerful, dependable Q-Switched Ruby Laser that performs one function perfectly – instead of many functions poorly. Practitioners using the Eternity rave about reliable treatment efficacy and minimal maintenance costs.
Faster Patient Results
With precise ink targeting and higher peak power, the Eternity removes resistant inks in fewer treatments for better patient satisfaction. The Eternity is also excellent for treating pigmented lesions, delivering fast results.
