How It Works

First

Circle the treatment area and document with photos. Then, cleanse the skin and apply the Carbon Wave Patch.

Then

Using your Q-Switched Nd:YAG laser with a 1064 wavelength on the appropriate settings, hold the compression optic on the treatment area and fire the laser in a zig-zag motion while keeping the laser constantly moving.

Next

The laser energy is converted into stronger energy waves, intense enough to rupture the fibrotic septae that causes cellulite dimpling.

Finally

Once the septae has been treated, the surface skin is released and provides a smoother surface for the patient.

Clinical and Histological Evaluation of Carbon Wave Patch Assisted Laser Treatment for the Cosmetic Improvement of Cellulite

This single-clinic study evaluated Carbon Wave Patch assisted laser treatments for the cosmetic improvement of cellulite. Female participants with visible buttock dimpling received two in-office treatments, one month apart, using 1064 nm Q-Switched Nd:YAG technology. Follow-up visits occurred at six months after the final treatment.
